Ana J. Haugwitz was borned in Bogota, Colombia. Two years after she started to study Visual Arts (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogota) she decided to go to Munich, Germany expecting to understand her father´s land, lenguage and culture. Since 2003 she studies there in the Academy of Fine Arts under the tuition of professor Hermann Pitz. This move has influenced her work where adaptation processes and changes are the main Topics. In the King Kong Gallery she is going to show one of her newest works where global warming, wateroverflow and feelings of powerless find their place.
